TG 80 SUPER ELECTRODES
TG 80 Super Electrodes provide stainless
steel deposits with excellent mechanical
characteristics.
Their semi-thick basic/rutile coating
provides easy firing, very smooth
melt transition and very little
slag adhesion.
The coating has very low moisture
sensitivity.

“cover slag”.

powder and chromium carbide.

Smooth HR Technochrome, with its
high chromium content, provides
perfectly smooth, regular surfaces
with very low coefficient of friction–
ideal for the surfaces and hubs
of propellers transporting abrasive
powders.

Hardness:
58 /62 HRC Rockwell diamond cone
penetrator.
Maximum hardness is obtained by
a two-layer weld deposit.
Isolation of the chromium carbides,
which constitute the matrix, with
hardness of 1400 to 1500 HV.

Characteristics
:
Technoloy is a composite
rod made using crushed sintered
Tungsten Carbide grains
bonded with a Nickel-Silver
matrix, (Cu 50 Zn 40 Ni
10) with a low melting point
( 870°C ). The Technoloy
rods are coated with a brazing
flux. |
Availability:
We supply 6 different grades covering
the most commonly used grain size
range.
Procedure:
The surface to be coated
must be ground before hardfacing.
Preheat at 150°C this surface
before spraying the Technopowder
MB 40. (recommended)
Heat locally to fuse this under-layer
and then apply the Technoloy disposing
the Tungsten carbide grain in
order to obtain the best cutting
effect
We recommend the use of the Techno
2000 torch kit, which is simple
to use and easy to maintain.
