TECHNODUR AND TECHNOSPHERE FLEXIBLE COMPOSITE ROPE. TECHNODUR ® and TECHNOSPHERE® are Tungsten Carbide based flexible hard facing ropes, developed by TECHNOGENIA.

TECHNODUR® and TECHNOSPHERE® are composed of a central small diameter Nickel wire coated with a thick layer of Tungsten Carbide and Nickel Chrome mix.

TECHNODUR incorporates crushed Tungsten Carbide particles.

TECHNOSPHERE incorporates harder spherical Tungsten Carbide pellets.

The primary and secondary mesh size of Tungsten Carbide particles in each product are selected to achieve maximum density and uniformity in distribution.

TECHNODUR or TECHNOSPHERE can be applied in several successive layers when particularly thick deposits are required.
It can be ground to final dimensions to final dimensions when necessary.

TECHNODUR® and TECHNOSPHERE® are applied using oxy-acetylene.

TECHNOGENIA offers a specially designed oxy-acetylene torch kit, the TECHNOKIT 2000 for this type of overlay.
